I got a Alta HR for Christmas which I set up today. It seems to be working fine except that the HR tracker on the App only lists resting heart rate and when I try looking at the HR graph, it says 'No measurements'. I can also see the HR on the Alta and the other dashboard items like steps etc are working and syncing fine. Any advice would be welcome.

Hello @skb99, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! I have tried to replicate this issue with my phone and indeed, at first sight the measurements are not there, so what I did was to force quit the app and tried again. After I went back to my heart rate readings, the same message appear by just accessing; but after a moment waiting all the information came up.
So give it a try to the following suggestion and wait a few minutes:
Log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.
Keep me posted how it goes. I'll be giving follow up to this issue.

Thanks, this workaround solves my problem.

Hi,
I'm having the same issue with my Alta HR. I bought the device a few hours ago.
I can see my heart rate on Fitbit's screen & within the Android App. However, when I click on the Heart Rate Section within the App and trying to see the graphs. It says no measurement. I download a Fitbit Windows PC app and within that, default resting heart rate page says 'No Heart rate reading'.
I tried your cache/restart method. It doesn't seem to work. Is there anything else I should try?

Hi there @jc999, nice to see you have joined the Fitbit Community! In this case might be related that you just started using your tracker. Heart rate measurement will be display as long you continue using your tracker.
If by now the screen still doesn't shows the measurements, give it a time. Note that your information is not stored locally on your phone and may take a while to display this data since it is require to download the data from our servers. This will depend also from the internet speed you have.
Now in the scenario that the issue persists, try to switch from mobile internet to Wifi. Also sine you already tried to reset the app, try by uninstalling and reinstalling the app again as a last resource. I have seen this issue with my phone, but most of the times it just take a short period of time to load the data.
See you later and keep me posted.

Is there any smallest of the small tip or hint that anyone may suggest?
Many thanks

Not sure if this will help, but I just fixed my issue by going into settings (Ionic) and enabling the option "heart rate" subtitled "enables heart rate data features". I must've bumped it when quickly scrolling through the settings. Maybe you have something similar?
Another issue I've had was fixed by cleaning the sensors on the bottom that read heart rate, which has also fixed charging issues I've had (from being dirty).
I've also had the sensor not blink at all, which I've fixed by restarting it by pressing buttons that do that. Not sure how to do that with your Fitbit. I'd look that up if you don't know and are attempting. On my Ionic, I hold the middle on left side and bottom on right side. I actually learned from this tutorial: https://youtu.be/CCyiUiybJW8
Hope at least one of these things fixes it! Sorry you have to go through all this trouble. I swear Fitbit has taken years off my life with issues I've had in the past! Anyway, good luck!
