No notification of low battery on Galaxy S8 phone

I asked a question about notifications not working on my Charge 3 but failed to mention I had a Galaxy S8 phone - my problem has happened with all four Charge 3s.  Three of these devices have been replacements during my warranty period!  None of them will give me a notification my battery is low.  All my notifications are on.  I did a chat a few months ago and they had to have a tech send something to my phone to get it to work.  It did work, one time, and that was it.  Did not want to spend another hour or so going through Chat.

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? In the meantime I receive your answers, please try the following steps and let me know if the issue persists:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

I am now on my 3rd charge 3 under my warranty period.  All of them have not notified me of low battery.  I did have a chat some months ago to fix this problem.  After at least 30 minutes the chat person advised they could not help me so they turned me over to the techs.  The tech sent something to my charge 3 and it worked - but only once.  To get help I would have to go thru this chat and tech process again.  I did not want to waste the time.  I have tried all of your suggestions to help many times but nothing works.  However I do get notifications for things that I never opted to get.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone
