No notifications from Samsung 7 Edge to Charge HR 2

Many posts suggest that the Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge is a compatible phone for ChargeHR 2 but I cannot get the notifications to work. I have reinstalled Fitbit app, turned phone on and off, checked notifications on app and phone and followed many instructions on help articles but no luck.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

@Wingy53, have you checked the Charge 2 itself to verify that it has Notifications enabled?  Press & Hold the side button for about 3 seconds to toggle Notifications from Off to On.
