No recent activity for friends when I try to add them to challenges

I just upgraded to a Note 9...this was not an issue with my Note 8...I deleted my Ionic and added it back, did not fix....read older post which stated I should go under Personal settings and add friends...there is no longer a personal settings in settings for fitbit app...it is hard to compete when you can't see people's stats...any idea how to fix this or is this a flaw with the latest update?

Is Fitbit ever going to fix this issue? Several of us have complained -- This is the second time I've complained about this with no fix. Many posts are about this issue. I add people to challenges according to how active they are, and I have to log in on fitbit.com to see who is active. If this doesn't change, I don't know about others, but I won't be getting another Fitbit.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. This is on your end.

I am having the same issue. I just upgraded from a Galaxy S7 (no issue) to S9+ and all my friends say no activity. It's not letting me add a screenshot from my phone.

I started having this issue after upgrading to the Versa. I find it very frustrating and have not been utilizing the challenges feature due to not seeing the activity 😞 C'mon Fitbit!

Fitbit - this looks to be a known problem.  Is there a solution?  I'm using a Note 8 and can't see any activity for any of my friends!

Mine does the same thing I can add friends to challenges but it shows no activity so I don't know who is actually active and who is not.

Any update on this?  I recently updated to the Note 9, also, but this started at the end of my Note 8 life.

I cannot even add people to Adventures.  Strangely enough, if I look on the friend tab, the full 7 day step totals/rankings show updated.

I have had this issue for months also. The whole reason for FitBit over other products is challenges. This makes it a lot less useful and I will not get another one or recommend this product until this is fixed.

Just wondering if there has ever been a fix to this? My app still does this and I got my Fitbit Versa just this year. Thank you!

No, more than a year on, still no update and it friends info was completely removed from the main page "Fitbit is more fun with friends" which they have admitted they gave up on for no reason.
