No sleep insights

Hi,

 

I've been using my Fitbit for a few months now and one of the features I was most excited by was the sleep insights. Since using it I haven't received any. I have slept insights selected in the settings and I've tried turning it off and on again, but no luck. 

 

Hoping there's a solution for this!

First, I appreciate your effort and time troubleshooting your device prior posting. To better assist you, can you please let me know which Fitbit device you're currently using? Also, you're receiving auto-sleep information instead of Sleep Stages or not sleep information at all? Which Android mobile device you're using to sync the Fitbit? For more information and details about how sleep is recorded, I recommend you to check: What should I know about sleep stages? and let me know how it goes.

Hi @RicardoFitbit, if you re read the message @Andeoreo is referring to sleep insights, those little messages we used to get. They are advertised but I haven't seen any for ages.

I'm using a charge 3 with a Pixel 3 XL.

 

As another user has said, sleep insights (information on sleep) is advertised but I've never seen them.

 

All the sleep page does is show the different stages you've had and how long you've slept, it provides no insights.

I'm sorry to hear that both of you are not receiving Sleep Insights. Thanks a lot for what you've tried to get them back. I'd like to help you out with this. Let me share that Sleep insights in the Fitbit app provides personalized guidance on how to improve your sleep for better overall health.The more sleep you log, the more insights you’ll receive, but you may not receive a new insight each day.

 

Now, if you're not seeing them at all since a while, you might want to make sure that they're turned on. To make sure they're turned on, do the following:

 

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the sleep tile.
  2. Tap the gear in the top right.
  3. Find the option to turn on sleep insights.

Also, make sure that the Fitbit app, mobile device and Fitbit are up to date.

Are you reading my messages? 🙂 I've already said I've done this, and it hasn't worked. 

 

I've never seen sleep insights and they're turned on. Please let me know how this will be fixed.

Sure I'm reading your posts, I provided you with the previous steps to confirm that it was done correctly. To better assist you with this situation, can you please let me know if the Fitbit app on your Android device is up to date? Also, are you manually logging sleep information or the sleep logs are directly tracked with your Fitbit device?

Hi, 

I am also not getting any new sleep insights. I received one when I first bought the Charge3. It’s been 3 weeks since I’ve gotten any new insights. I have been getting automatic sleep analysis every night. I’ve looked at other threads and have tried different suggestions but nothing has worked so far. Things I’ve tried:

 

1. Resetting the charge3

2. Deleting app and reinstalling app on iPhone

3. Turning off and then turning on the sleep insight 

 

Please let me know if you have other suggestions. Thanks

To better assist you with this, when you say that you're getting automatic-sleep analysis you mean that your Charge 3 isn't recording details Sleep Stages? If such is the case, this is the reason why you're not receiving Sleep Insights. If you're not receiving Sleep Stages, please let me know when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then. In the meantime I receive your answers, please learn more about this feature here

I’ve been getting Sleep Stages for over a month now. I got one sleep insight during the first week and it has stayed the same since.

My Charge 3 has been doing a wonderful job recording detailed sleep stages (REM, light, and deep sleep) every night. Sorry for the confusion in the first post.

@RicardoFitbit if you read @Lrsnguyen last post it says it says that the tracker is being user every night and successfully.  The point is that if you have the sleep insights on you get the same message displayed for weeks on end. I got so fed up with seeing the same message all the time I turned them off again. 

This has nothing to do with our phones or trackers, it's the information provided by fitbit.

@Andeoreo @Lilbiddy @Lrsnguyen  Have any of you received help on this yet? I've looked through several threads on the forum with this same issue, but it seems the "solution" is never for this actual problem. 

 

My Charge 2 is working and providing me with sleep stages every night, and has been for almost 2 years, but the sleep insight that I am shown has been the same for the past 3-4 weeks, which is now inaccurate. I have tried turning sleep insights on and off and made sure that everything is up to date, but sleep insights still isn't working. Can anyone help with this?  Thank you.
