Not Showing Sleep Scores in the Fitbit app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

A few weeks ago a new area in the sleep log had an place for Sleep Scores. I found where to turn on this feature and have turned it on but for two weeks it shows the score category but never actually posts a score. Is there something I need to do for my scores to start posting?

I was able to delete the sleep log and add the same times back into the log and it then showed the full sleep analysis and sleep score.

Hello

checking if any update re the 0 sleep score.  This is very frustrating.   I used to see a nice graph and a sleep score number.  Now I see straight lines in the graph and always a 0.   I have reset everything... logged off and back in.. no resolve.   This is a key reason why I have a Fitbit.. aside from exercise tracking... not sure how useful it is to me now.

Hi @ScottAnd , if you don't know how to (re)start your Fitbit device, you can find an explanation over here:  https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186/?l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1

Under settings, where do you see "receive sleep score"? I have the Versa 2 and only got the sleep score the first night I wore it and havent gotten a sleep score since. Thanks

Thank you. Deleting and re adding kind of worked. I still did not get a sleep score, but my graph updated and I got a message on the screen explaining that my watch was too loose when I slept last night. At least now I know what happened,

I factory reset also and got a sleep score that night... but that's it..
Gonna factory reset again today and see if it works tonight..

Actually, about 15 minutes after I posted that reply my sleep score showed
up. I’m hoping that was a one off thing, but at least now I know how to get
it in the future.

I lost my sleep score also.   Turns out that I inadvertently turned off my heart rate monitor under setting on my Fitbit blaze watch.    I turned this back on and it started calculating my sleep score the next day.

I was always getting .my heart rate...I factory reset it 2-3x and it's
finally working...and I have it 2 finger widths from my wrist.

Hi everyone! welcome to our Fitbit forums! I'm sorry to hear that your sleep score stopped showing. I'm glad to hear that most of you were able to get this issue resolved.

For the people that are still experiencing this issue, try the troubleshooting steps that @Kce127 shared, which consists in deleting the sleep log and add the same times into the log again.

Also, I'd like to share this help article which explains more information about sleep score and how it works.

Keep me posted.

When you say "delete the sleep logs," are you referring to the daily logs or just the times when sleep should be logged? There isn't a way to delete all the individual records, at least that I'm aware of how to do that.

Here is what I know so far. My sleep score logs automatically. I have had  issues in several months that I determined to caused by buggy fitbit app and my cell phone. First make shure your app is up to date. Second make shure your fitbit is able to sync to you phone with Bluetooth and is connected to your app. Enable the always connected option in the fitbit app settings. This is important. _20200531_105311.JPGSometimes you have to restart your phone if your having syncing issues. Now that your phone and fitbit app is alway connected and communicating with your fitbit device you shouldn't have any more issues. Your fitbit device should automatically detect when your sleeping and wake up. When you wake up and grab your phone your device should automatically log your sleep score when it syncs. Keep note it could take some time to log multiple sleep scores if you haven't synced your device for a couple days. You can also delete your current sleep score and log it in manually. Also allow some time for your fitbit device to calibrate to your body and routines.

Hey, I have just purchased a Versa 2 and for the first 2 weeks it recorded the sleep data. Basically since Friday there has been no sleep data. I have followed all the limited advice in the Fitbit website and no change. Is this just my device or an android issue?  If it stops recording sleep data is this issue resolvable? Should I return the device now while still under warranty?

Fitbit support says the sleep score is a part of the Versa 2.  However, mine has not given me my sleep score since February.  People have indicated they've deleted their sleep scores and that has correct the problem.  It hasn't for me.  I read recently; I'm sorry I can't remember where, that the display of the sleep score may only be available in specific locations, but those locations aren't listed.  Until recently, every time I'd checked my sleep data, I would get a notice that one has to purchase Fitbit's premium package to get their sleep score.  Just recently, that notice stopped being displayed.

I had the same issue ..some nights I’d get a sleep score. I tried everything...what finally worked was wearing it on my non dominant hand.  Hope that helps somebody.
