Not getting text notifications from LG V40

I have a new Android phone (LG v40) and my alta HR is paired with it because I see steps, etc. But not getting texts or phone notifications. What should I do? Thank you

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems receiving text message notifications from your LG V40.

Now, I'd like to let you know that even when you're able to sync with this phone, it's not in the list of compatible devices (that you can check here).

This means that even when you can sync with it, we don't guarantee that the functionality will be optimum as we are still testing on these phone models and due to the large number of Android and Windows devices, our team has not yet tested all of them. We're continually adding more devices and improving our compatibility, so if you don't see your device on the list check back soon.
