I used to get messages on my Alta when I would get a call or text message on my Moto Z force. All of the suddent this stopped. I would like to know why, and also why the moto Z force has been on the market for so long and its not showing up as compatable. What in the world is taking so long??? I really miss this feature, to have it and then take it away is really bad form.
Are you going to make the Moto Z force compatable in my lifetime??

Hi there @UsedToWork. Good to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂
I'm very sorry to hear you're having problems with your notifications not working as they should 😕
Now, as you mention, the Moto Z Force is not a compatible device for syncing, which means that it may work sometimes but it's not guaranteed to work in an optimum way. We don't have any update on whether or not this device will be made compatible but in the meantime there are a few things I can recommend to get your notifications to work.
First, try giving your Alta a quick restart. You can easily do this by clipping your tracker to the charger and plugging the charger to a USB port on your computer or a wall charger. Then, Press the button on your charging cable three times within four seconds and your tracker should vibrate and show the Fitbit logo. This will make your tracker to reboot.
Then, you can try to make your phone to forget your Alta from the Bluetooth connected devices and then, pair it again. go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone. On your connected devices, look for your tracker. Tap on it, then choose the option that says "Forget this device".
Then, proceed to set up your tracker as a new device. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.
Hope this helps. If you need any other thing, let me know!
PS. I'm moving your post to the Android App board for categorization purposes.

Moto Z force compatable. I have had the Moto Z force for over a year. Yet
fitbit finds a way to make apple products compatable almost as fast as they
come out. I am going to stop recomending fitbit products until you correct
this problem.

I too am having the same problem with my versa I just bought this watch today. The only reason I bought it is because I was told a few months back by a Fitbit employee my phone would be compatible when it clearly isn't. I have a Moto z force 2 also and this phone is at least a year old I don't understand why Fitbit can't sync with my phone. Is this problem going to be fixed in the near future if not i would like to return the versa. It's pointless to have if it can't connect to my phone. 200$ is alot of money to spend on something I can not use.

Personally, I think fitbit has had more than enough time to correct this problem. The Moto Z force has been on the market for over a year. I am not sure why fitbit is dragging its heals. Seems to do back flips to get updates for Apple. I suppose they are making bigger payments to fitbit.

I agree! I don't understand why FitBit made no update to assure compatibility with Moto Z Force! It is an expensive phone and compatible with everything else that I have tried. I am sorely disappointed in this incompatibility issue!
