Not receiving notifications on Inspire HR with Samsung Galaxy S10+

I just purchased the Inspire HR and I am trying to get texts and calls on my watch but I just cannot get it to work. I orginally had the fitbit Alta HR and just switched. I took that out of my FitBit app and sunk the Inspire HR but I cannot get the text messages or calls to work on it. I even redid all this twice now and powered my phone off and on. I went through all notification settings and followed all instructions from online suggestions. Is this watch not compatible with the Galaxy S10 plus phone. Please advise on what to do and if compatible with my phone. Otherwise I am going to send the watch back and just go back to my Alta HR.

Hello @Munchkin60, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding.

I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post. Let me share with you that the Samsung Galaxy S10+ is not currently listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you may experience certain connection difficulties with it. I'm aware that some users are able to use non-compatible devices with our Fitbit products, however, we cannot ensure a proper function of all its features due to this compatibility concern, Fitbit app, Android and device updates.

Even though your mobile device is not compatible, If you haven't already done so please check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Inspire HR are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

If by any chance you're still unable to use your Fitbit with your mobile device, I suggest you to try with a compatible device instead to see if the compatibility concern is affecting the notifications feature of your device.

I'll be here if you need anything else, please keep me posted.
