Not receiving notifications on Sony Xperia X

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

I purchased a Versa 2 for my mom. She has a Sony Xperia X, but I can't get notifications to work with it. If I pair a Nokia 8 with it, the notifications start working.

Can anyone tell me how I can get the notifications to work with Xperia X?

Thanks,

Rahul

Hello @rahulthewall, welcome to the Community Forums!

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post, thanks for taking the time to setup the device with another phone. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your mom's Versa 2 are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hi @RicardoFitbit,

I went through those guides you shared yesterday.

However, today I discovered, that my mom manages to receive notifications for missed calls and messages. However, she doesn't get a notification when she is getting a call. Could you suggest a solution for that?

Thanks,

Rahul

Thanks for your reply @rahulthewall.

I appreciate your effort troubleshooting this situation with me, seems odd that just the incoming call notifications is not received. Keep in mind that the Sony Xperia X is not listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, your mother can experience some connection difficulties with it. That being said, please re-setup the notifications feature with the information that was shared on my previous post and let me know if the issue persists.

Looking forward to your reply.
