Not receiving notifications

Since the update, my charge 2 no longer shows texts or calls from my Samsung S8 Galaxy. 

There's nothing in settings on the Fitbit app where I can change the settings for these notifications, either. Can someone give me the dummies guide to finding these notification settings and turning them on?

My Fitbit is stuff my still connecting to my phone because the app shows all the data from my Fitbit.

Location and Bluetooth are both on, and notifications are enabled in the settings in my phone.
