uninstalled as would not sync and tried to instal but it says my email has an account.What do I do now?

That sounds like you are trying to create a new fitbit account. There's no need to do this if you reinstall the app - once the fitbit is set up it stays set up and all you need to do is choose the option to login to your existing account rather than create a new one.
Once you get that sorted let us know if you are still having syncing issues.
