I uninstalled Fitbit and redownloaded from the app store. I'm now on 3.7 and restarted my phone but i'm still getting this error. VERY frustrating.

Getting the same dumb error as well on my versa 2 and everything was fine earlier. Only thing I havent tried is reinstalling the app.

So it appears as though Fitbit is aware of this issue with iOS. Anyone heard of a fix for Android yet? I'm seriously considering trashing my Charge2.

I did fixed mine, I think issues are related to permissions or permissions breaking after updates. Went to applications on my Xiaomi Mi9, found the fitbit app and made sure it has all the permissions it needs like auto start, start in background, etc, restart phone and it should be fine.
