Notifications Not Working with Samsung A9

The Fitbit app says it is syncing with the Charge 2, but I can't get it to pair with bluetooth on my Samsung A9 so my What's App and Call notifications come through. I have tried resetting the charge 2 and my phone, removed the pairing from my previous phone, reset bluetooth and all my network connections. Why isn't anything working? Is the Charge 2 not compatible with my phone (it worked perfectly on my previous Samsung)?

Welcome to the Forums @SongbirdBex.

Thanks for sharing those details and mentioning all of the steps that you have tried.

This might be happening because the A9 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.

As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps for the notifications.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
