Hi All so having thought I found a fix and a work around for the honour 9 which did work , I thought I would try on my honour view 10 , I followed the exact same thing I have done on my honour 9 , everything seems fine and it does sync , but no matter how I tried and deleted apps, reinstall re paired , etc etc Unfortunately I cannot in anyway shape or form get any notifications to work on my honour view 10 , or one plus5 .
Things I have noticed while doing this procedure .
The app wants to control your Bluetooth it one to be exclusive as in it wants to be the only Bluetooth watch to be paired to even get it to sync .
If any other Bluetooth device is pair it simple stays on the enter code connecting screen .
The red warning sign , restart your phone to enable notification service has gone so I do not get that any Moore .
I can't understand why Fitbit would release hardware knowing that the software dowent not work , why they just can't used Android wear even with there own OS I don't understand so we are left with a device with limited functions , unless we are prepared to buy a new phone or a phone that's on there list , otherwise we are at the mercy of the devolpers to get it working , such a shame for a nice product
The watch itself is very comfy , but again the is not optimised at all , it's clunky , not smooth from swiping from one app to another compared to other watch OS , not sure why you can only have the me watch face installed at a time and it does not keep it in memory means you have to wait each time to change watch face , I'd you have a cat app watch face when you select another one as in dog or different cat , your steps are not carried over from one to the other have to start over , but my main grip is notifications and the clunky transition from mine app to another needs a lot more work .sorry guys I'll keep trying doffdiffe things but I have to say I wouldn't recommend buying this the way it is right know I'd wait a few months for better Software
