My versa 4 is no longer showing me when I get calls or text messages. I've enabled both of these in the notifications, I deleted the app and uploaded again, and I went thru the setup process on my versa 4 again. It had been working fine for weeks and suddenly stopped. It is synced and should work but still nothing.

Hey Cg!

I'm sure you've checked, but just in case (since I've seen this pop up a few times): have you double checked DND or Airplane mode on both the phone & versa?

Hope it's that simple!

I also just came across this: "After years of this issue with my device and many attempts to fix it, I found the problem is with the iPhone messages settings themselves. Go to Settings > messages > notifications > show previews > choose "Always (Default)". I was also successful in choosing "when unlocked." As long as you do not have it set to "never." This worked for me- hope it helps."

It's good to see you participating for the first time in the community @Cg10james.

Welcome back to the community @Hlkljgk. I appreciate your help and I'm pretty sure that your suggestion is going to help other users too.

Please, check the following requirements:

  • Make sure you’re using the latest version of the Fitbit app. For more information, see How do I use the Fitbit app?
  • Make sure your Fitbit device is up-to-date. For more information, see How do I update my Fitbit device?
  • Keep your phone nearby with the Fitbit app running in the background. Your phone should be within 30 feet (10 meters) of your watch.
  • Call notifications must be turned on.

If you continue to have issues, even if you already tried it, confirm the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. On your phone, turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  2. Restart your Fitbit device. For instructions, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  3. Remove your Fitbit device's controls or calls from the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone.
  4. Set up on-wrist calls again. For instructions, see How do I set up on-wrist calls on my Fitbit device?

Note that your Fitbit device's controls or calls might be listed as “Not Connected” in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone. When you receive a phone call, the controls automatically reconnect. This feature requires more frequent charging.

Regarding the text notifications that are not working you can see this article
