Old original Fitbit

My original fitbit has decided not to pair with my phone for steps.  I can still charge and use it, but it won't register steps on the app.  The info I manually put into the app obviously works.  Tried deleting the app and reinstalling...no luck.   I have been trying to "nurse" my old friend along, and it has been fine (albeit frequent chargings), but I am hesitant to buy an upgraded Fitbit product if the software is a hassle.  I am NOT a tec savvy individual.  HELP

Hello @Martha219 your tracker does not have to be paired to your phone for it to sync.

Also a user should not be able to pair the tracker to the phones Bluetooth.

My question, is the tracker still connected to your Fitbit account?
