Only one food item can be logged at a time, it crashes when logging more

I can only log one food item at a time. When I select another item the app crashes. I have to restart my phone (android) every time to log each item. This resolves it occasionally, for a few hours but the problem comes back again.

@Unahogan Welcome to the Fitbit Community. I moved your post to this board, in an effort to keep the forums organized. 

I appreciate the troubleshooting performed prior to posting. I'd like you to make sure this procedure is being followed to log food on your app: 

  1. From the Today tab 
     
    , tap the 
     
     icon on the food tile.
  2. Search for your food or create a custom food.
  3. Enter your information and tap Save.

If your app is still crashing, let's try the following: 

- Log out from the Fitbit app 
- Clear the app cache 
- Restart your phone 
- Log back in and log food

The solution which you suggested did not work. I have to restart my phone
every time after logging one item. Occasionally I have success in logging
a few items.

I appreciate that you shared the troubleshooting followed in order to log food. May I know the phone model and OS installed? Is it happening only when logging food? When did it start happening?

Actually, the app seems to be logging food ok now for the last two days. So
perhaps there was just a delay after clearing cache and logging back in.
