Oppo R9 Plus Notifications

Hi, 

I recently purchased a Fitbit Blaze, and I am using an Oppo R9 plus.  Is there anything developing behind the scenes to enable notification compatibility for this particular model of phone?  Seems odd that there are other Oppo phones that are compatible but not mine.
