So I meal prep every week and I like to track the content of my meals as accurately as possible (not just calories but macronutrients). To do this I like to enter every ingredient and save it as a meal so that when I have it I can simply select that meal.
The website has this functionality but seems to be absent in the app, so I almost exclusively do everything via the website and pretty much ignore the app.
I'm kind of stunned how this isn't a core piece of functionality and wondering how people are entering home cooked meals accurately into the app since it doesn't seem to be a key issue for the majority (otherwise I'd expect Google would have addressed it by now).

Hi, @rawan5, welcome to the community. As with any of these food tracker functions it takes quite a commitment to populate "meals". I do this using the online Dashboard. You may find this article useful How do I track my food with the Fitbit app? And should you decide to look further afield How do I connect Fitbit with another app?
I hope this helps.
Cheers
