Phone Vibrates on Notifications

Hi all

 

Since this morning, every time I get an onscreen notification my phone vibrates. I've had a quick dig around in the settings and can't find a way to switch the vibration off. For example I will get an onscreen notification saying 'Fred is sneaking up on you' accompanied by a vibration which is doing my head in, as well as my bosses since my phone lives on my desk! 

 

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 running Android 8.0. Has anyone else experienced this or know how to stop the vibrations?

Hi, @joelseph25! That's very strange! I've never experienced this. However, I have a couple of suggestions. First is, it sounds like these are notifications for a challenge. You can go into a challenge, click options, and turn off notifications. Second, you can go into your app settings (id card at the top), scroll down to notifications, and change what gets pushed. Also, you can turn off notifications for the app in general from your phone settings. Good luck!
