Welcome to the Forums @SunsetRunner.

Thanks for going through all of those step to get your Charge 3 to pair before posting in here.

I checked and the Xiaomi RedMi 4 is not part of the supported devices list. Only the RedMi and the RedMi 2 are. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.

I'm sure that you have read that as long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Maybe you could try going through this article that helps with the setup.

If none of the above works, you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

i have tried anything but it won't sync. I am now planning on buying a new phone, which will be the sony xperia z3 which is on the list of supported devices. Can I expect my charge 3 being compatible with this phone? i'm doubting because the phone has been released in 2014 en the charge 3 in 2018

Hello @SunsetRunner.

Thanks for bringing this up and for trying the steps that I suggested.

As you mentioned the Xperia Z3 is definitely supported and you should expect it to work as intended with any of the Fitbit devices. Keep in mind that the app continues being updated to work with the newer Fitbit devices.

My phone which is the Nokia 6 was perfectly paired with my charge 3 up until I got the update. After the update it wouldn't sync and the time was off by 30 minutes. After troubleshooting, rebooting, uninstalling and reinstalling app, I'm fresh out of ideas and very frustrated as I've only had my charge 3 for  right at 3 weeks. I was so loving it until these problems. Can't buy anew phone as I've just purchsed this one this year and I'd hate to return my charge 3.... Desperatelyin need of help...

Thanks for letting us know that you have tried going through all of those steps to try to get your phone to sync.

In this case it could also be caused because the Nokia 6 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone. It is possible that some update on the phone or app caused further optimization issues and thus caused the syncing to stop working.

You could try connecting with a different phone or a computer as I indicated above.
