Phone restart is needed to re-enable notifications error message

After setting up my phone with the Charge 4 that my partner bought me, all seemed well.

Now, very frequently, the push notifications just stop coming through to my watch.

When I launch the app, and visit the notifications settings on fitbit, theres a nice red warning that says a phone restart is needed to re enable it. However that does nothing, and instead I have to clear the data from my fitbit app and relog in to get it working temporarily.

I'm using a Huawei Honor 8X and couldn't find it on the list of devices not supported..

Hi @Lirinya, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are correctly configured and to try some troubleshooting steps. Please make sure that power management is currently disabled for the Fitbit app.

I'll be here if further assistance is needed.
