I attempted to sync my Fitbit Charge 2 to my Pixel 2 but I couldn't receive notifications. Is this also an issue with the Versa? I will be returning my Charge today and like what Fitbit offers but if this feature doesn't work I will have to move to another company. *I can sync data but no messages alerts.

I just wanted to let you know that I have moved your post from the Versa board to the Android app board, since I think that here you will be able to see more related topics about the Fitbit app.
Regarding your inquiry, keep in mind that in order to have a successful connection between your tracker and phone, it needs to be a compatible mobile device. If you haven't checked our list, you can do it by clicking here.
When a phone isn't compatible it doesn't mean that it won't work with your Fitbit but you might experience some connectivity issues. You can always try the instructions provide in the help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync? but I don't guarantee it will work 100%.
