Having just purchased a Pixel Watch 3 you can no longer zoom or rotate the map within the Fitbit app. The issue seems specific to the watch as older runs from two days ago (using a Sense) can be zoomed and rotated but the new runs all recorded with the Pixel Watch 3 are static and zoomed so far out I can't read street names.
My wife has the same watch and has the same result.
I hope this is rectified as it renders the mapping useless.

Fitbit update to 4.29 and mapping is now working as expected!
I've seen a few users report that they are able to zoom & rotate the maps in the app after updating their Fitbit app to version 4.28.3.
Please let us know if you've updated your app version and if the issue still exists after installing the app update.

Thanks for the response. It is version 4.28.3 and I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app to no avail. I've ensured all mapping permissions are available to Fitbit and VPN is bypassed also. It's good to hear that some find it working as it implies it's a bug and not a removed feature.
Best AnswerConfirmed it's not working whilst analysing data on a Pixel Pro 9 XL, a Pixel 7 Pro and the Pixel tablet. The Sense logged runs all still allow for rotation and zoom. It's the Pixel Watch 3 runs that do not. All Watch 3 permissions are the same as the Sense was.
