Pixel Watch 3 crashes when checking settings

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The new pixel 3 icon should open up to options to change, adjust settings but it just sends you to fitbit home page.

The pixel app has every possibility of apps to generically turn on and off but neither has a way to turn off the "not mived" notifications I turned off after being on disability for my back... which is why it's so very frustrating to see the notice.  Help.

Hello @vaderkty

Are you talking about the hourly Reminder to move notification? If so, that push notification is managed from the Fitbit app on your phone/tablet.

Did you turn off the Reminder to move notification in the Fitbit app and are still seeing it?

Yup, just loops back to homepage. Previous charge fitbit opened and allowed for push notification to be turned off. Watch only allows to set up which hours I want active...

Thank you,

Hello @vaderkty

I'm using a Pixel Watch 3 and have the option to turn off the Reminders to move in the Fitbit app.

Have you had a chance to try clearing the cache for the Fitbit app on your phone and seeing if that fixes the looping?

Does the Reminders to move section allow you to select which days? If so, can you turn off all the days? It's not as ideal as turning off the notification altogether, but it might work.

Brainstorming here: Another workaround option that might work is setting up the Reminders to move schedule during your bedtime (e.g, 1am - 2am) and making sure that Bedtime mode is scheduled to turn on. Since Bedtime mode works like Do Not Disturb, notification shouldn't come through.

It actually JUST allowed me to enter into the watch icon and turn off push notifications for device.

I had been trying to lower all goals to 0 and active zones to as low as possible this morning when I just checked to see if it would finally work!

The "Endlessloop" has ENDED!!!!

This is the only time I have ever had an issue with any device since 2015/2016 when app was not even close to what it is now.

I am really good at navigation and exploring new features on app and devices and this was perplexing. I am just happy it's fixed!!!

Thank you,
Colleen

I am just glad it wasn't "Me". I was wondering if I was going crazy... I keep checking it in the morning just to make sure it's actually working 😂😂😂😂😂

Thank you,
