I'm sure 4.29 solved some problems, however it introduced a new problem. When in the food selection both the Recent and Frequent have their tops cropped off at the top of the screen. Same thing happens when you want to add calories to the top numeric entry field which is cutoff.
One has to wonder about all these updates but never getting very far.
43 days later I finally get this issued resolved for me. Never mind the myriad of previous problems and those that others are reportedly still exist. During this long wait there has been no comments from Google, even the Moderators have nothing meaningful to communicate. Google has lost my loyalty and respect for treating customers this way. I for one will not be renewing my Premium subscription. I got tired of waiting and I am using Cronometer. I regret buying the PW3 and my Pixel 9 XL Pro.

Hmmmm I smell an Android 15 update issue with Fitbit. How do we raise this further?

I reached out to Fitbit support and was told that an update is coming Nov 20 but no acknowledgement of the issue or indication that it will be fixed in the update.

Hmmmm well hopefully it will be, but if it isn't we can be a pain to them until it is!

Not realizing that this was already reported I created another thread. Let me add my comments here. I am also a Pixel 8 user.
===============
I weight myself every morning and manually enter the data into the FitBit app, sometimes the next day depending on how busy I am. After updating to Android 15 yesterday I would like to post my weight for yesterday. Previously there was an option to select the date, but now that is gone and only data for the current day can be inputted.
Is this a known issue? Are there any resolutions?
I remember that weight could be input via the FitBit website as well. Could someone please remind me where I can find this so that I can workaround the issue until this is resolved?
Thank you and best regards.

I have a Pixel 7 and after the update it went back to deleting manually added activity and showing calories eaten for the following day that have not been logged.

Attaching an image of how my weight curve looks in Fitbit. I can only view data for the current month in the chart. I also think it would be good to have the option to toggle full screen on the charts, especially since the Fitbit web dashboard has been discontinued.
I don’t have access to version 4.30 in Google Play. When will this issue be resolved? I’m using a Google Pixel 8 Pro.

Commenting just to say "me too" - Pixel pro, Android 15. It just started today after the Android update so maybe related?
Also haven't gotten a sleep score the last 2 nights, but that's probably unrelated (though annoying).

Too bad they took down the web version. 😂
Pixel 9 doesn't work either.
Why is this thread marked solved when the problem is not solved?

If you search for Fitbit on Google and download the previous version you should be able to install and use that until an update is provided. That's what I did and everything is back to normal.

I did that too. I can log my activity without it disappearing and I can log my food!

Yep. Not that they actually *suggested* to do it, but Google (aka Fitbit) just essentially created a situation where the resolution is significantly weakening security on the device by allowing sideloading of apps outside their app store with whatever tool we all stumbled across to do it. The files on the site I found are not even the old school installer files (this forum won't let me include the file type in my post), so I need to install their proprietary installer, watch some ads, etc. Who knows what else the third-party installer does? Not me.
Kinda ironic that this is exactly what Google doesn't want users doing.
Companies with legitimate change management perform comprehensive testing and have rollback (or fix forward) plans if they somehow missed something. Those plans don't take days to enact when they're needed.
---
I'm curious whether Fitbit's regression tests include UI test cases on a representative sample of device types. Pixels make up almost 13% of Android devices in the US in October 2024. It seems reasonable to me that changing how content is rendered so it complies with Google's standards would include checking on these devices along with Samsung's and other manufacturers with double digit market share.
Defining, automating, and running these test cases early and often can prevent disruption, brand damage, embarrassment (and really long forum threads).
I realize I'm on a bit of a tangent and probably won't get an answer, but if Fitbit's forum mods have access to the development team, this may be something to pass along.
Okay, I'm done rambling 😉

Please be very careful when installing older versions from Google search. For example this from Aptoide needs permissions that are not needed by original app.
Probably it will steal your Google account and install something on boot.
Google: rollback your app to working version! You are generatic huge security issue!
