Pixel phones-(Android 15) Recent/Frequent food have their tops cropped off at the top of the screen.

I'm sure 4.29 solved some problems, however it introduced a new problem.  When in the food selection both the Recent and Frequent have their tops cropped off at the top of the screen.  Same thing happens when you want to add calories to the top numeric entry field which is cutoff.  

One has to wonder about all these updates but never getting very far. 

43 days later I finally get this issued resolved for me.  Never mind the myriad of previous problems and those that others are reportedly still exist.  During this long wait there has been no comments from Google, even the Moderators have nothing meaningful to communicate. Google has lost my loyalty and respect for treating customers this way.  I for one will not be renewing my Premium subscription.  I got tired of waiting and I am using Cronometer.  I regret buying the PW3 and my Pixel 9 XL Pro.

Received 4.30 today, issue with the screen cutting off at the top is still there.

Also The recent and frequest food lists is also stuck and not changing.

Its starting to annoy me now. Its deleting workouts from the start of the week now, and it's not showing me my weight loss progress as usual. When will this be sorted please. I haven't spent all this money on a smart watch for it to keep failing on me.

The situation still hasn't been resolved!!

Google haven't seemed very concerned about Fitbits for a while now.

They're going to be selling thousands of them for Christmas, as well as their Pixel phones, but it's looking like they could drop all support at any time.

This is fair on existing buyers, or on future buyers.

Why can't someone at a company as big as Google, just write a bit of code?

Or at least issue a statement??

This same problem seems to be in the weight section also. Can't select time period for the weight graph, or see/select date when entering weight information. On 4.30 app version, Pixel 8 Android 15.

Hello, I'm encountering the same issue.

It is affecting Main Food tracking view, Food search tabs Frequent, Recent and Custom and Single Food record.

The problem is caused by Android 15 forcing apps to go edge to edge, so unless the app developer changes their UI by reserving space for the android status bar, the bar will overlap the top of the app. It's got nothing to do with Pixel phones.

Fitbit need to update their app to deal with edge to edge, plain and simple.

I'm sorry, but the apps incompetency is really messing with my health plan. Not being able to see the nutritional values, my weight progress correctly and deleting logged workouts. Update the app, that's all you need to do, you and frustrating loyal customers!!!!

Same issue for a while now. Pixel 8 Pro. I cannot believe that the app for a service I've paid for has had regressions in functionality for over a week.

Similar issue with Pixel 8 -- the Nutrients detail page is cut off at the top - can't see anything above Cholesterol.

Hi is there an update to the food tracking issue for Pixel phones? Mine was working fine up until yesterday and nothing is resolving it. 

As an aside on weight tracking I have stones as my preferred units but the app insists I log weight in lbs so it will display in stones - I don't understand it!!

Same on pixel 8 pro!  Running version 4.30 is not helping yet either!

Over 1 week ago I reported this on November 13th 2024 and it still hasn't been resolved yet with the latest version of Fitbit premium released yesterday that I'm paying for?!

I'm going to switch back to a MyFitnessPal subscription to track my calories and cancel my Fitbit premium subscription if this isn't rectified soon.

When can we expect this issue to be resolved? I also have a Google Pixel phone and very frustrated that I can't add food items because I can't see them. Can't add custom either. Very frustrating!

@JL2024 hate to be a downer, but it took them two and a half months to fix the issue where the Fitbit app wouldn't properly sync steps from the Pixel Watch and they still haven't fixed the issue with historical exercise data randomly disappearing. My best guess is that this issue will take way longer than it should to fix 😔
