Pixel phones-(Android 15) Recent/Frequent food have their tops cropped off at the top of the screen.

I'm sure 4.29 solved some problems, however it introduced a new problem.  When in the food selection both the Recent and Frequent have their tops cropped off at the top of the screen.  Same thing happens when you want to add calories to the top numeric entry field which is cutoff.

One has to wonder about all these updates but never getting very far.

43 days later I finally get this issued resolved for me.  Never mind the myriad of previous problems and those that others are reportedly still exist.  During this long wait there has been no comments from Google, even the Moderators have nothing meaningful to communicate. Google has lost my loyalty and respect for treating customers this way.  I for one will not be renewing my Premium subscription.  I got tired of waiting and I am using Cronometer.  I regret buying the PW3 and my Pixel 9 XL Pro.

@Deucalion0 I just had an update populate in the play store dated December 9 but it is still version 4.30.  Went ahead and downloaded the update and restarted the phone but it does NOT fix the issue. I have a Pixel 9 PRO XL running android 15 with the December 5, 2024 security update.  @MarioSFitbit can you confirm that the update I downloaded is the correct version to fix the issue?  This is getting absolutely ridiculous!  Google hardware (Pixel 9 PRO XL and Pixel Watch 3) running Google software should be the best experience. Hopefully I'm missing an update still.

@Manas_Singh what software version? 4.30 or 4.32? I updated to 4.30 dated December 9, 2024 and it did NOT fix the issue on Pixel 9 PRO XL running Android 15.

@Darren_F  That's unfortunate you are not seeing 4.32... it could be a gradual roll out? I'm on Pixel 9 Pro Android 15 too.

Fingers crossed for you.

Thanks so much for your response. My Pixel tablet is constantly telling me to update from Android 14 to 15.

I hesitate to do so. My Pixel 7 Pro updated to 15 and you know the issues we've had.

Is there a number assigned to the update you are recommending we use to fix the Fitbit problem?  I've gone to the Play Store/Fitbit, and there's nothing there about an update.  My phone shows only Nov. 5 as the most recent update.

Update to the app or the OS?

@Darren_F I am currently on 4.32... I think I got the update a few hours ago. Google is known for rolling out updates in batches so maybe you'll receive it soon? Not really sure. Try restarting your phone and checking for update inside the PlayStore again

I sideloaded 4.32 and it has resolved the issue.

Just checked and I still see no option to update. I don't really want to
side load it from a third party source, nor should any of us have to.
Really confused why Google play on my Google pixel 9 isn't giving me the
option to update to the newest version of the Google Fitbit app. I guess I
can be patient, but this is odd.

My 7 Pro is still at 4.3

I wonder if this update is being sent out in stages.

I rebooted my phone but it's still a mess.

No update for me yet, but I've already gotten used to myfitnesspal. For whatever reason though, Fitbit has a good food database imho

Has there been any updates on this? I am having the same issue and see this thread is from almost a month ago. I still have the same issues with the app and really almost unusable at this point. Is this going to get fixed ?

I get your frustration, but I always try to remember that the folks who are trying to fix this issue are not the ones raking in the money.

When my scheduled bus doesn't show up, I don't take my frustration out on the next driver who does show up.

We are all frustrated with not being kept "in the loop", but I'll just wait until things are fixed.  I've been with Fitbit since the beginning and owe it thanks for helping me lose 50 lbs., which I have no doubt has prolonged my life. (I'm 80 yo.)

It took awhile but Fitbit app update 3.2 for my Google Pixel 7 arrived 12/9/2024. Thank you Fitbit for fixing the cropped screens with this update.
