I'm sure 4.29 solved some problems, however it introduced a new problem. When in the food selection both the Recent and Frequent have their tops cropped off at the top of the screen. Same thing happens when you want to add calories to the top numeric entry field which is cutoff.
One has to wonder about all these updates but never getting very far.
43 days later I finally get this issued resolved for me. Never mind the myriad of previous problems and those that others are reportedly still exist. During this long wait there has been no comments from Google, even the Moderators have nothing meaningful to communicate. Google has lost my loyalty and respect for treating customers this way. I for one will not be renewing my Premium subscription. I got tired of waiting and I am using Cronometer. I regret buying the PW3 and my Pixel 9 XL Pro.

At long last, this fixed it for me. Took way too long. Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in.

I finally got prompted to update Fitbit in Google play but it didn't fix the issue 😭😭😭 it still says version 4.30 for me, but then it also says it was released on December 9th??? How is that even possible? I feel like I'm in Kafka's Maze.

I haven't been prompted but mine says the same, 4.30 and released 9th December. Also no fix.

Hi everyone !
I really appreciate all your messages telling us that updating to version 4.32 of the Fitbit app solved the problem.
Thank you for your confirmations.
For those who updated to version 4.32 of the Fitbit App and still have the issue, please confirm the model of your phones and the installed Android system.
Thanks a lot for your patience to those who are still waiting for the 4.32 update, remember that the update implementation phases are independent of geographic locations.
Finally, remember if you are experiencing other kind of situations (different from the tops cropped off at the top of the screen) you are more than welcome to post it into the proper thread or board, in order to avoid confusions and keep the main topic in this thread.

Will we be notified individually when the updated 4.32 is available?
Also, since I have not updated my Pixel tablet to Android 15, is it now safe to do that, or should I wait for 4.32 to roll out?
Thanks,
Stephen

Hello @MarioSFitbit
Like several other users have reported, I also got an update to the Android Fitbit app this week. However, when I check the version in the app, it shows 4.30 and the Play Store shows the app update as 09 Dec 2024. We are not seeing version 4.32 in the app after the update.
Please advise.

Still no 4.32 update available in Washington State. Unbelievable how long things is taking.

If updates are by geographic locations, can you tell me why my husband has
the updated 4.32 version (days ago) and I am still waiting? I've even
uninstalled and reinstalled and still getting 4.30. We both have Pixel 9
pros. We both have Android 15. Is there a manual way that I can update my
app? I'm going crazy.
...I don't think the rollout is by geographic locations. My husband has had 4.32 now for days and I'm still waiting for mine to update. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still getting 4.30. We both have Pixel 9 Pros. We both have Android 15. Is there a timeline estimate as to when all of the rollout will be complete? I'm going crazy. And the irony of this situation is my husband doesn't even use the food tracking and that's my biggest issue that I'm dealing with. 😩🤦🏼:female_sign:

It's completely random. The devs put the update in Google play and say something like 'have 25% of users get the update today, 50% get it in a week, 80% in two weeks' etc. Then it randomly picks users to get to that number. I also have no idea if this is true. I mostly made it up. I'm trying to invoke Cunningham's Law.

A bit of patience?!??
I've been kept completely in the dark for weeks over a service I pay for.
I'm genuinely shocked at how bad Google and Fitbit have been.

I think what should be clear from this experience and others before is that Fitbit needs to update users in much more real time on the status of issues with much more detail than has been presented. The app is very important to us and we'd rather hear real details instead of being kept out of the loop. Releases or at least hot fixes need to get faster. Otherwise sadly many folks will just leave to other vendors who treat their product and users as first class.

Hi everyone !
Thank you for all your comments and feedback regarding the 4.32 version update of the Fitbit App.
The rollout is still in process and does not develop by geographic locations.
Please stay tuned and always comment when you receive the update and how it turns out for you.
In order to prevent confusions, I kindly suggest keeping the language in this thread (you can always look at the Community Forums in the Fitbit Community supported languages and post there).
I will be more than glad to keep you informed.

I can't find the fix. Lizzy Fitbit sent me a link to the community forum to review the answer. However there are over 400 comments Lizzy Fitbit is expecting me to dig through. Can you please directly send me the fix before I drive my car over my Fitbit and switch to a competitive product.
Fitbit would have never traded me this way. The switch to Google has been painful as a customer.
