I'm sure 4.29 solved some problems, however it introduced a new problem. When in the food selection both the Recent and Frequent have their tops cropped off at the top of the screen. Same thing happens when you want to add calories to the top numeric entry field which is cutoff.
One has to wonder about all these updates but never getting very far.
43 days later I finally get this issued resolved for me. Never mind the myriad of previous problems and those that others are reportedly still exist. During this long wait there has been no comments from Google, even the Moderators have nothing meaningful to communicate. Google has lost my loyalty and respect for treating customers this way. I for one will not be renewing my Premium subscription. I got tired of waiting and I am using Cronometer. I regret buying the PW3 and my Pixel 9 XL Pro.

Yeah, the free options allows you to track food and then adds the food total into FitBit for you to see macros via the Apps and Devices section in Settings. The full version of MyFitnessPal has macros included. I prefer seeing macros in FitBit. only because I've always owned a FitBit.

Yeah, think it takes info from the tracker you have. I don't use MyFitnessPal for sleep tracking so I'm not toooo sure, sorry. But definitely a decent workaround for calories until Fitbit resolve the issue. Feel happier giving my money to MFP than Google at the moment to be honest...

See if you can get some money back due to lack of functionality for a few weeks. Or get Premium for free for a few more months as an apology.

Interesting. That is the bit of Fitbit that is broken!

The sleep tracker in Fitbit is still working, so that's not too bad.

Oh I hadn't even noticed they updated the weight screen because I've been using the quick shortcut from the home screen, which still has the broken layout (and also doesn't seem to actually save any more?).
It's certainly nice how communicative they've been about what progress is being made. No wait, the opposite of that.

Yeah that bit seems to have been fixed at least. Would have been nice if they had actually had the patch ready for when Android 15 came out rather than giving everyone here something to be annoyed about.

Also having this issue. I use Gousto and each week have to add my own recipes filling out calories and other nutritional information. Now because it's hidden I can't add my own food. I can add quick calories but that doesn't track my macros which I rely on. This is really frustrating! I sincerely hope there is an answer soon or I'll be forced to use another tracker!

And so when will it be fixed!!!

I've been recommending MyFitnessPal - I add a lot of custom foods too so this has heavily impacted my use. I log my foods on MyFitnessPal now and I've got it set up to transfer info FitBit to view macros. I'm sure there are other trackers too that sync into FitBit.

Just installed MFP too. If I can get used to it, it may be a better option. If so I'll cancel my Fitbit sub. Too many problems with Fitbit lately and it's hindering my health goals.

MyFitnessPal is available in Google Play. Get the blue calorie one.

I'm just getting my bearings so I'm probably not the right person to ask (yet). MyFitnessPal installs on your phone and supported wearable (in my case a pixel watch). You can connect MFP to services like Fitbit, Google Fit, and Strava to get information about your exercise, sleep, etc.
I still have some to figure out, as it seems like the connections are bidirectional in some cases. For example, food I logged in MFP went back into the Fitbit app and got double logged with what I'd already put there. I opened a ticket with MFP and I'll see if they respond.
The response and fix can't be slower than the way Google is handling this thread lol.

MyFitnessPal looks like you can add actual custom recipes and it calculates everything for you! Like add the actual ingredients and what you did. It's fantastic!

I bet ChatGPT cold solve this problem. I have a Pixel Fold 8 and I get the feeling that Google just want us to buy their crappy watch and ditch FitBit.

I already have their watch and sadly it doesn't make things any better with this.

Still waiting for an update. You would assume the company that make Fitbit and the company that make Pixel would test new versions on their own devices at least...

I'm not buying another Google product.
It's a misuse of the Google brand, to cover for a second rate outfit.

Please get this fixed. It has been a couple weeks now. It's not just an aesthetic issue. I makes it impossible to use important features, like custom food entry. I use these features a lot, and with the web dashboard gone, the app is the only way for me to interact with these data. Please do not let this linger!

Dear Fitbit devs - the first developer beta of Android 16 was just released. Please get the Android 15 version fixed pronto, and then please please get cracking on A16 version! Just drawing your attention to this as you seem not to have looked at A15 until it was released.
