Pixel watch not tracking sleep

My Pixel watch is not tracking sleep. I'm logged in to fitbit in watch and app. I upgraded to the Pixel and never had any problems with my old fitbit. I've read the forums and have tried everything listed and no luck.

Advice please

Hi, @BrittleBrett, welcome to the community, you may find this article of interest How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device? . I apologise if you've already seen it, you will remember you need to be at rest for about an hour before your PW/Fitbit app records you are asleep. If you are a restless sleeper this will have an impact. Check the sleep setting (normal/sensitive) and change it to see if it makes a difference. You do not mention the make, model or OS version of your Android phone Fitbit Supported Devices explains some issues including the minimum OS version.

I hope this helps but if you are still stuck please post here again.

Cheers

@BrittleBrett

I had that problem and tried the following steps:

  1. Restarted the Pixel Watch 2 every night before bedtime. On the watch, swipe down, Settings, System, Restart.
  2. Cleaned the underside of the watch using a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol after step 1.
  3. Wear the watch a little further up on my wrist.

Since I started doing these 3 steps I've received a sleep score every night.  I'm not sure if I need to do all 3, but it works for me.  I may try eliminating one of the steps to see which one is necessary to get a score.
