The SDK documentation states that the HRV and Breathing Rate heart metrics are not returned by design if the sleep stage algorithm is unable to determine and return the sleep stage information.
The HRV and Breathing Rate heart metrics are very valuable data to track on a daily basis, regardless of whether basic or detailed sleep results get returned, so please consider returning all the heart metrics, every day, going forward.
