Post Upgrade Issue with BT

Okay so I updated my Blaze to the latest code last evening.  This morning this morning I discovered that the BT feature on it was off.  I have reenabled it and varied that my phone (Samsung G6) does see it.  But I can not get the device to sync.  So I rebooted both devices and again the Fitbit is showing BT off, not pair.  I reenabled again and my phone see's the Blaze, but I still cannot get sync to work.

 

Has anyone else encountered this issue as I cannot find any comments in the threads or boards.

I've seen plenty of threads where people say the BT on the tracker. You don't say which phone you have but an iOS device doesn't use this BT Classic at all. Also your tracker doesn't use this BT to sync. 

So what's happening. 

Have you shut the blaze off through the settings menu yet? 

Shut the phone completely off? 

Then try and sync, don't bother looking at BT on the phone since there is nothing you can do here. Everything needs to be done through the app. 

One more thing to try would be to set the Blaze up as a replacement device.

Thanks for the comments. If you look I did mention I have a Samsung Galaxy
6. But as for the shutdown of the Blaze itself, yes in the settings menu I
selected the Shutdown option.

I have completely shutdown both devices and rebooted. It seems to be
working for now, but will have to watch and report back.
