Dear Fitbit decision makers,

I have a fitbit Charge 2 which I bought in November 2016. It still works well, so I am  happy but I need an upgrade.
Here is what I need and I don't find all these features in one device (random order as they came to my mind):
1) built in GPS
2) hiking + mountain biking trails and possibility to record them and analyse like Strava+trailforks
3) SpO sensor
4) heart rate monitor - I like the ECG feature of Apple
5) more female health features and analysis, related to both activity and body sensations
6) Sun pattern simulation, on the screen if possible, like apple 🙂 - I don't know if they have it location based or settings based, but that would be great if it would be GPS based
7) I don't need any of these: music, phone message readings
😎 Swimproof
9) accelerometer
10) gyroscope
11) altimeter
12) the compass on the screen would be helpful too
13) I also like the reminders to move (for office work)
14) Any pollution, environmental sensors and stats would be awesome
15) I am not a fan of logging in to my online account, I prefer using the app

Charge 3 seems to have most of the sensors that I need however no GPS. Many of these features are app improvement related, and that might seem easier quick improvements?!?!
Basically.....I want one with all the sensors possible and all the stats possible. Sensors are hardware requirements and the stats are app requirements. For now I've been using the device for clock, checking the number of steps and movement reminders. But I use the app for checking stats and recording hiking sessions.

If you need someone to help you improve anything, please use me. I would be more  than happy to help produce a device which I think would help many other people. A bit about me: I am an environmental engineer and currently stay-at-home-mom, Yoga instructor and avid hiker. I am planning to train mountain biking so I can join my husband. And I am in search of a job, which most likely will be an office job in the environmental engineering, energy and climate change field. Therefore, any sensor which would define the quality of the environment and the way that it influences my health would be awesome.
Best,

You do realize that the Charge 4 is a Charge 3 with more sensors and built in GPS.

Why do a hardware review in the Fitbit android software board.

Of course the screen is to small to display half of what your asking for.

Hi Rich_Laue,

Thanks for your answer.

1) Maybe I wasn't clear: I am looking for one device to wear not 2 or more. Basically, I can't find a watch to have both GPS and SpO, which I really wish for. Yes, I have  seen that Charge 4 has more sensors than Charge 3 however Charge 4 doesn't have the SpO sensor.

2) I don't understand what do you mean by: "Why do a hardware review in the Fitbit android software board."

3) Again, maybe I wasn't clear, let me explain with other words: I do NOT use the screen except for time and number of steps for reference to how much activity I have one day compared to another day. So I don't need many features on the screen of the watch but I do need all the stats possible in the app, which I use often. I would use the Sun pattern if that would be available on the screen. I think that the watch screen can handle all these things. Conclusion: from my point of  view there is no need to load the watch's screen. Everybody who has a smart watch has also a smart phone and apps installed, the screen of the phone is bigger and you can see the stats much better. However, giving options to people is always wise.
