Profile pic replaced by device icon in v4.2.1?

In my app, my profile pic used to be in the upper lefthand corner on the dashboard.  Now, I see a device icon--to go to a device setup screen.  Is there anyway to get my pic back on the dashboard?

Hi @Sph8nx5 - the removal of the profile pic seems permanent many people have asked to go back which you can see in "The redesigned Fitbit app is rolling out!" topics in the  iOS or Android app forums.

Unfortunately it would seem likely you are stuck with this version officially. Though there may be some tweaks over time already mentioned there. This could take months to get this test version to anywhere near how the previous version was but it is almost certain the profile pic won't appear.

Hi, @Sph8nx5, welcome to the community, if you sign in with your Google account in the new app the upper right icon will change to your profile picture.

@Sph8nx5 - note: switching to a Google account is not reversible and can cause things to work differently or not at all depending on your usage.

@Sph8nx5  If you have friends on fitbit that you compete with etc you will most likely lose them all if you sign in with Google. Beware.

@Gr4ndp4  The point being that you have no way of getting in touch with these people to ask them to switch. Also if they don't want to you'll have to wait for 2 years until they are forced to.
