Question: In 2025, can I have 2 Charge trackers and swap them out easily?

I've posted my issues with my Charge 5 over in that forum. Seems many people have similar issues. This means I can still use the Charge 5 sometimes, but not for critical activities. I will consider getting another Fitbit tracker IF I can continue to use the Charge 5 as a backup while I am charging the newer one. Having to lose stats while charging the device has always been an annoyance. It occurred to me that swapping between 2 devices might be a nice solution.

I searched and saw some old posts, but the answers were confusing and possibly conflicting - and not current. Can someone answer for what will work TODAY? (Let's say I had a Charge 6 and make that my main device, but want to use the Charge 5 when the 6 is on the charger.)

So no, you cannot.  Many many years ago it was possible, but only with much older trackers which are next to impossible to find now.
And yes, it would be a nice feature and has been requested, probably thousands of times, but don't hold your breath waiting for it to reappear.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks for the answer JohnnyRow, although it was not what I wanted to hear.

This is probably not the place to discuss it, but I guess my next big question is going to be what brand of tracker I switch to. ☹️  I actually really LIKE my Charge 5, A LOT, and am satisfied with the Fitbit app and how the data is presented. But if google isn't going to support me and make their products reasonably usable ... sigh.
