Quick replies not working

Okay so my fit bit is synced and it gets the messages from my phone how ever it will not send the messages that I am trying to send via fit bit. Can any one help me out here?  I've been trying to search for an answer thru the help website but I can not seem to get the answer I need.

Okay so it all was working fine the day I got the fit bit which was 12/25.
However the very next day I could receive the messages but I could not talk
to the fit bit and have my respond sent. I called costumer support and
that didn't help. They just told me I needed a new phone even though I
have an Android "rebel 3" which runs 7.0 that is required thru the fit bit.
Some times it works but 98% of the time it does not.
