Fitbit Update: 8/23/18

Hey, everyone!

Thanks so much for your patience. We really appreciate your cooperation while we released the Fitbit for Android app version 2.77. It has been fully released to everyone, so please go to the Google Play Store and download it as soon as you can!

Many of you that already updated have confirmed you see your real-time heart rate back in the Fitbit app and that your steps/calories are updating. I will leave this thread open in case anyone has any issues, but I hope you are all set after updating. Thanks for all your help!

Fitbit Update 8/16/18:

Hi everyone - The fix for this issue will be out in our next app release which you can expect within the next 2 weeks.

We will provide an update in this thread once it has been released. Thanks again for all your patience and cooperation.

Fitbit Update 8/9/18: Hi everyone. Thanks for taking the time to report this issue here on the Android forum. I've passed your reports along to our engineering team so they can begin investigating. From what I've gathered, this issue is app specific and not affecting the Fitbit web dashboard (which is correctly showing all activity data as expected). To keep thing organized, I've merged several threads to this one.

I appreciate your patience and am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. In the meantime, I welcome you to continue sharing your experiences here. In the meantime, you can view your current stats on the Fitbit web dashboard by logging into your account at fitbit.com

When I hear something new, I'll be sure to update the thread with the latest info. Robot Happy

i am having this exact same issue. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It showed correctly right after reinstall, but now it’s back to 0. My dashboard is correct, my 250 steps/hour is right, but my steps and calories are 0!?

I have over 16,000 steps for today and its showing zero on my end as well. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, turning bluetooth off and back on, and restarted my phone. Still showing 0 steps and 0 calories burned for today.

Go to Fitbit. com Dashboard and click on the gear icon at the upper right and then Versa.  Scroll down and see that "Live Data" is enabled and sync your tracker.

Hi,

The website did not log any activities I had done for 4 days. I had to
login to my app on the phone using new password. I had to reboot my phone.
Now it fail to synch if the battery is low?

Thank you

As well. Steps, heart rate and calories are zero. Miles are not accurate either. Something goes wrong with the app everytime there's an update!!! This is ridiculous!

Just received another update, now on 2.76.1, but all the bugs reported in this topic are still present.

I am having the exact same problem.  The steps do display on my device, though.  So, this seems to be a problem with just the smartphone app.

I'm on android, and having the same problem, my distance, floors and active minutes all sync fine but step and calories will not change at all. Then when I check the steps on the next day, the steps will be there!

I have tried all the suggestions on the thread (re-pairing the charge 2, turning off bluetooth, restarting phone and device ) none have been working!

Mine started doing that last night .There was an update on the 10th I think and I've uninstalled the app at leave 6 times today. I've given permission to all the location stuff it needs and it's syncing in the background just not showing up on the dashboard .

Not cool.

Came here to see if anyone else was having this issue. Same here, Galaxy S8 and the heart rate and steps aren't live updating.
