I'm having some problems with my Fitbit updating and have sent a series if messages via the Facebook (thailand) support system. No one is answering this time. I don't have or want a Twitter account and don't have time to call a help line.  Facebook messenger has  been great in the past, any ideas why no response this time?

Hi! Anyone having issues with live updates /real time tracking? My heart rate on the app is only showing resting rate and my steps don't increase in real time as they used to.....

Best Answer

Same issue for several days.  However,  if I uninstall and reinstall the app it works.  But it only works for that day.  The next day my steps and calories stay at zero on the dashboard until I uninstall and reinstall again.

It looks like 2 or more threads have been merged (thanks for the information and the warning) the only downside to this procedure is that you loose the train of help provided by various sources as they are shuffle fed into the merged thread and get confusing especially when the title changes to either one of them or even something completely different - so a suggestion would be IF you are going to merge a banner or some sort of mention would be nice from the person merging the threads - to keep continuity of the followers have both/all titles as the subject ie (Update requires 5.0 / App 2,76 Issues/No sync or live data) and lastly background each comment in the transferred thread maybe to a light grey/blue etc etc) so people can follow the thread and the advice they have been following to start with or better still don't merge but have the moderates gain the function to be able to post in multiple threads with one comment (ie linked on moderators display) but keep the threads separate the current system is very confusing

Mine isn't registering steps either. Everything else is fine(not sure how I travelled 4+ miles without taking a step). This is crazy, it's going to mess up my insurance and the walking challenge I am in at work!!!!

Which step you had tried and it solve the problem? Please share?

I am having the exact same problem. Started two days ago. I believe right after an app update. My Blaze tracker is syncing but the heart rate and steps do not show until the next day. During the current day it reads zero. This is very frustrating Fitbit! Please fix it now!

My Samsung 9+ App just stopped showing the current heartrate...only shows resting heartrate now. I have reset Charge2 device, turned on and off phone bluetooth, unpaired/re-paired, uninstalled/reinstalled app, turned heart rate setting in account from on to auto to off many times, removed Charge2 device from app and added new and resynced after every change above, but still only resting heartrate shows on app. I can see active heartrate on Charge2 display. Active heartrate shows on graph but not on dashboard in phone app.

Just noticed my steps not doing the live update today so might of been a recent Android app update thing that broke it.

Good Morning  for the past week, my blaze and tracker app are syncing but not calculating the steps,, but if I click the steps icon on the tracker, sends me into the graph, click steps (which says zero) it then gives me the amount of steps I've done? I've restarted phone (Sony xz1)  the blaze, and uninstalled and re installed the app on my phone. Still no joy.

***It is syncing with everything else. ***
