I was encouraged to post on this thread instead of the one I was on for continued updates concerning syncing. Namely, I'm having issues with syncing the information from my fitbit Blaze to the fitbit app on my Samsung Galaxy S9 in real time since Thursday night at about 5pm. Hoping for a real resolution soon as they "solved" my thread.
This is what I wrote back on Friday on the other thread...
My fitbit app showed me at 0 steps all day. So far, I have updated the app, unpaired the phone and blaze, added it back, restarted my phone and blaze, turned off the wifi, and hard booted my blaze. All of these I have done numerous times. My phone will now sync with my blaze, but I have to request it manually. The app will not show me anything in real time. I've had other issues, but this is quite frustrating!

Last week the app on my android phone was updated and now the app does not sync continuously with the ALTA. I have reloaded the app, turn the bluetooth off and on, reset the ALTA and gone through this a number of times. What's up with the app?

My Altra HR started doing this 2 days ago. I turn off bluetooth, logon the computer app and everything is there. Log off, turn bluetooth on the Alta, steps appear, it sync's steps go to zero. Obvious android FitBit bug.

Yea, you can’t even buy a Blaze in the Fitbit store. They’re done with them, moved on to bigger more expensive Versa...

I'm also having the same problem. Looking at the reviews of the fitbit app on play store I think most users are having the same issue.

Thank you. I will watch for it to be fixed. I thought maybe my fitbit charge2 wasnt working correctly and maybe I needed to get a different one. But now wont bc I will wait for fitbit to fix the problem.

After latest app update the app reads zero instead of syncing with my Fitbit Alta HR. When I open the app all is zero then after 1 minute the info populates but is not synced. Whats up with that?

Having the same problem. Android user. My android app shows distance but no steps. If I click through to "Steps" and then again into today's number, it will finally tell me the number of steps I have for the day.

I have just purchased a Blaze after my Surge screen scrambled. I am running the app on a Samsung Android phone. Blaze is connected via Bluetooth to phone although does seem to have problems syncing. All day sync switched on. Not showing current heart rate in app. I have rebooted phone and Blaze, removed Blaze from Bluetooth list and repaired. Can't think of anything else. Any suggestions?

I have been experiencing this issue staring today. When I pull up fitbit app, it will say I have Zero steps when my charge 2 and the dashboard on the webpage tells me I have much more. I was concerned that something was wrong with my device. Hope you guys can fix this app issue soon, it's very inconvient.

This is exactly what mine is doing. Driving me crazy, but at least I can see now where it is recording the steps so I can see that my device is definitely syncing. Thanks for putting this reply up. Now I know what to do to make sure total steps are being recorded.
