Hey, everyone!

Thanks so much for your patience. We really appreciate your cooperation while we released the Fitbit for Android app version 2.77. It has been fully released to everyone, so please go to the Google Play Store and download it as soon as you can!

Many of you that already updated have confirmed you see your real-time heart rate back in the Fitbit app and that your steps/calories are updating. I will leave this thread open in case anyone has any issues, but I hope you are all set after updating. Thanks for all your help!

Fitbit Update 8/16/18:

Hi everyone - The fix for this issue will be out in our next app release which you can expect within the next 2 weeks.

We will provide an update in this thread once it has been released. Thanks again for all your patience and cooperation.

Fitbit Update 8/9/18: Hi everyone. Thanks for taking the time to report this issue here on the Android forum. I've passed your reports along to our engineering team so they can begin investigating. From what I've gathered, this issue is app specific and not affecting the Fitbit web dashboard (which is correctly showing all activity data as expected). To keep thing organized, I've merged several threads to this one.

I appreciate your patience and am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. In the meantime, I welcome you to continue sharing your experiences here. In the meantime, you can view your current stats on the Fitbit web dashboard by logging into your account at fitbit.com

When I hear something new, I'll be sure to update the thread with the latest info. Robot Happy

Same. Really hope they are working on this. Seems to be this way for most everyone.

Same problem.  Using Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus.  The problem with the live, real-time step/distance count not working started sometime in the past week (several days ago).  I've had the S9 Plus for 6 weeks or so, and and the real-time count feature definitely worked until the last few days.  I updated the phone OS software a couple of days ago, and the Fitbit app updated a day or so ago, but the problem persists.

Thanks guys. It did seem to happen just before the update so perhaps they're working on fixing it? Maybe someone from Fitbit could chime in?

Fingers crossed it'll be working again soonScreenshot_20180813-013536.png

Hi, I have been experiencing a thing on my Samsung Galaxy 7's Fitbit App in the past three days where when I go on it, the steps and calories briefly drop to 0 and then back to the current steps and calories following a sync. If this is a glitch, what can be done about it?

I can not log in with the app. Tried everything to troubleshoot .... Logging out, clearing cache, turning off phone, etc. I keep getting the message that Fitbit.com is not available. This is not the first time that updates have messed up the functionality of the app. I expect better.

After the last update, the app is not showing my steps count. It is  always showing 00, although if I click on the steps count, it changes to another page where I can see the steps I made. Is there a way to solve this?

My Android Fitbit app updated to version 2.76.1 this morning but the update did not fix the issue with the heart rate and steps.

In addition to not tracking in real time which just started for me two days ago, it is tracking incorrect numbers on floors and minutes, climbed more than 50 floors today but only 2 floors registered and only 99 minutes of the almost 4 hours of walking.

Thank you for keeping us updated. I also as of today show "--" bmp. I also no longer get my emails, texts, calls, etc but that's another issue I cannot figure out. I am using a Samsung galaxy s9+ and the Versa. I am beyond frustrated with no customer support for such an expensive product.
