Hey, everyone!

Thanks so much for your patience. We really appreciate your cooperation while we released the Fitbit for Android app version 2.77. It has been fully released to everyone, so please go to the Google Play Store and download it as soon as you can!

Many of you that already updated have confirmed you see your real-time heart rate back in the Fitbit app and that your steps/calories are updating. I will leave this thread open in case anyone has any issues, but I hope you are all set after updating. Thanks for all your help!

Fitbit Update 8/9/18: Hi everyone. Thanks for taking the time to report this issue here on the Android forum. I've passed your reports along to our engineering team so they can begin investigating. From what I've gathered, this issue is app specific and not affecting the Fitbit web dashboard (which is correctly showing all activity data as expected). To keep thing organized, I've merged several threads to this one.

I appreciate your patience and am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. In the meantime, I welcome you to continue sharing your experiences here. In the meantime, you can view your current stats on the Fitbit web dashboard by logging into your account at fitbit.com

When I hear something new, I'll be sure to update the thread with the latest info. Robot Happy

I'm having same issue since latest upgrade.  Steps are recording as normal on my fitbit ionic but  steps on fitbit app dashboard show as zero.  Someone advised me to change watchface to a standard fitbit one and said this would fix issue butnits made no difference

Haven't been able to see my steps, calories etc since yesterday at about 6pm. I've got a Flex 2. Just showing zero!

I just got my Ionic yesterday and started using it today, the watch itself shows the steps, calories and exercise of the day. However on the fitbit app on the dashboard the steps and calories show 0. floors, active minutes and km show fine.

If I click on steps and dive deeper into the today data I can see the correct number of steps.

I removed the app and downloaded it again, it showed the correct info but after a sync it went back to 0.

Guys, you should roll back 2.76.x to something that's working until you figure things out. You are updating thousands of phones with a botched version of your app leaving people very frustrated.

Known problem developed after App update.  See THIS thread and hang in there.

This has been going on too long. This is really messing up my workouts. How about an eta for when it will be corrected?

See https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Fitbit-App-version-2-76-steps-calories-reverting-to-zero... for latest info.

It is a know problem with the latest Android update.  Apparently it is still updating the Fitbit database as can be seen by looking at the fitbit.com dashboard, so at least the data is not getting lost.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Tried it. Didn't work. Rebooted phone and fitbit, a couple of times each.

@Newfitkitty Thank you - I am aware of the issue (Subject matter) of this forum - but was replying to @Akaelber1 who expressed they could not receive the data on my posting - I addressed all as I am aware that others who decide to use this function also have this problem - may I suggest you don't jump to conclusions before trying to berate assistance to others who ask ( help will always be given at Hogwarts/Fitbit to those who ask for it) 🙂 (yes the magic is when and if they will fix it)

Kind Regards

Wayne

Hey I wasn't jumping to conclusions I was just trying to help you since I know from my own mistakes that the mods on here at times delete or move a person's post if it is under a different topic that it normally shouldn't be. I'm not berating anyone.
