Help! Used fitbit for years with no issues. Calories, steps and heart rate no longer showing on dashboard. If I click on calories tile it shows zero for the day but if I press again for daily summary stats there.??? Data shows in summary at end of each day. Data all registering on watch.. I've reinstalled app, repaired and checked connections. Any ideas clever people?

This is a bug with the android app that fitbit are aware of and are investigating. Keep an eye on the following thread which has their latest updates on progress:

Pixel updated to OS version Android 9 Pie and now the main screen display of steps is 0. When you reload the app or reset the link, steps display correctly until the first sync. At that point it switches back to 0. If I drill down on the icon to the weekly display, it is also 0. When I drill down on the day at this point , the total steps display correctly by hour. I've reloaded app, turned phone off/on multiple times, reset link numerous times. Fitbit displays correctly.

Unistalled and reverted to earlier version.
Steps and HR now "live" synced again.
Why Fitbit can't do this officially until they reslove their software issue is beyond comprehension

How can I revert back to an older version?

There are a couple of ongoing bugs that may be affecting you.
Firstly there is a bug with the android app causing the steps to not show. Keep an eye on this thread for the latest updates on this issue from fitbit: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/App-2-76-1-steps-calories-revert-to-zero-no-live-HR/td-p...
There are also issues when using android Pie. See this thread for updates: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Android-9-0-Pie-not-able-to-sync/m-p/2885018#M82162

Make sure you disable the auto update of apps first or it will just update it again, also enable 'downloads from unknown sources' on your phone.

When I workout, I would have my phone with me, and I would watch the steps being taken, and how many miles I have gone during my workout. It really motivated me to see the numbers go up as I workout. Two days ago, I could no longer do this. I can hit the sync now button and it will update, but it will no longer show the numbers actively going up as I workout. I restarted my phone, I tried to sign out of the app and then signed back in, but nothing works. What has changed? How can I get that active tracking back when I am working out. It really kills my motivation not to see the numbers go up.

Same problem: my Fitbit app Dashboard shows 0 steps even after syncing, even after force-syncing. What's curious is that if I press on Steps, then on Today it will indicate the correct number of steps, yet it will still show 0 on the Dashboard.
I wonder when this will be fixed since I see the problem has existed for several months.

@Danie44 there isn't a fix yet but some people have gone back to the old version of the app to get round the issue and others are using the dashboard at fitbit.com which is not affected.
See the main thread for more details.

I'm having the same issues since yesterday. I just over 29000 steps but only 15000 synced. I've went thru all of the steps from deleting the app, resetting my watch, sending a message in the challenging, turned off the bluetooth, and still no luck.

How about reverting back to the older version and not roll out this new one till it has been fixed. Sick and tired of waisting my time having to go to these treads daily and trying to figure out how to fix it. Bring the old version back and stop with auto updates. I don't want updates. The thing worked fine until you guys start messing with it.
Very unhappy

My charge 2 is counting my steps and calories but not displaying on the app dashboard. If I tap into the steps (or calories) and choose the specific day, then I can see my steps. On the dashboard the circles remain grey with a zero underneath.
