We still don't have proof on this forum that the Fitbit company is failing.

Notice that Fitbit moderators have moved my post to the middle of another thread...so that it will not be noticed...and did not comment on it. Read it, moved it to hide it, no comment.
I have worked on app design for the last 10 years. I have worked on hundreds of apps, maybe low one thousands, you do not bring an app to market without testing it. This app has been through a BETA phase, it has been tested on ALL platforms. They knew there were bugs and still brought it to market. They had to. It is literally impossible NOT to know. They chose to bring it to market and fix it after, more than likely to capitalize on a new feature or something that they thought would make them more money ie; easier access to shopping links or better advertising for their products. It is still available on the app store, no mention of the issues. Why are they not posting telling people NOT to download the app? They know it doesn't work. Why wouldn't they just say please do not download the app until we get it right?
I can guarantee that they will again not respond to this, and probably try and hide it again.

Also having issues with latest fitbit update on Charge 2 - resets to 0 for steps and the hours slept don't handle the awake time properly. It lists total time "in bed" without subtracting "time awake" from it. IOS is working properly on the ipad. Is there anyway to rollback to previous version of the app?

So for me the latest update blew up everything - no syncing no nothing.
Installed 2.75 from a package mirror and with some fiddling-twiddling I managed to get the syncing going again and so far everything seems to be working.

I have Samsung S9+ with Charge 2 and have the same issues with the dashboard in the phone app that were mentioned in the above posts, but with different phones. That is, showing 0 steps and 0 calories, but today's steps are flashed for few seconds when app is opened, but then reverts to 0. Clicking on steps to show bar chart of steps for the past 7 days shows a nil bar for today's steps. However, if you click the bar chart to enlarge it, today's steps bar appears. Previous days steps do appear to be tracked in the dashboard and in Community - Friends.
I can see the steps and all other metrics on my charge 2 but no steps and calories on the phone app.
Please get this fixed Fitbit.

I fixed my fitbit app on my Samsung9+ by rolling back my version. GOOGLE "a-p-k mirror Fitbit 2.7.4.2" without the quote Mark's of course. Uninstall 2.7.6 or whatever version having trouble with, download and install 2.7.4.2 version. Make sure you turn off auto update in Google Play settings so Fitbit won't reinstall new bad update again. As everyone says, download old version at your own risk. It worked for me though. Don't know why Fitbit won't push out older working version automatically until fix is made...hmmmm! Good luck folks...yeah, my heart rate and steps are now working again LIVE!

I have this problem too, and carried out the same troubleshooting steps. I've had my watch since April. I've emailed their help desk and had replies but nothing that's helped 🙄

Recently my fitbit app has stopped displaying my live heartrate.
This has happened in the past, and I've been able to fix it my restarting my fitbit, switching between "auto" and "on" for the heart rate, turning my bluetooth on and off, or un-pairing and re-pairing the device.
Now, nothing I try is working.
I use the app to track my heartrate during work-outs, so I'd really like to get this fixed.
Any advice?

My app is not showing my current steps and hasn't for few days but does the day after. It has now started doing this on calories.
It has synced everything else ok.
