Fitbit Update: 8/23/18

Hey, everyone!

Thanks so much for your patience. We really appreciate your cooperation while we released the Fitbit for Android app version 2.77. It has been fully released to everyone, so please go to the Google Play Store and download it as soon as you can!

Many of you that already updated have confirmed you see your real-time heart rate back in the Fitbit app and that your steps/calories are updating. I will leave this thread open in case anyone has any issues, but I hope you are all set after updating. Thanks for all your help!

Fitbit Update: 8/21/18

Hi, Everybody!

Fitbit Update 8/16/18:

Hi everyone - The fix for this issue will be out in our next app release which you can expect within the next 2 weeks.

We will provide an update in this thread once it has been released. Thanks again for all your patience and cooperation.

Fitbit Update 8/11/18Hey, everyone! Thanks for confirming that you are still experiencing this issue even now with the Fitbit app 2.76.1. Rest assured, we have escalated this issue to our team for investigation.

Fitbit Update 8/9/18: Hi everyone. Thanks for taking the time to report this issue here on the Android forum. I've passed your reports along to our engineering team so they can begin investigating. From what I've gathered, this issue is app specific and not affecting the Fitbit web dashboard (which is correctly showing all activity data as expected). To keep thing organized, I've merged several threads to this one.

I appreciate your patience and am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. In the meantime, I welcome you to continue sharing your experiences here. In the meantime, you can view your current stats on the Fitbit web dashboard by logging into your account at fitbit.com

When I hear something new, I'll be sure to update the thread with the latest info. Robot Happy

There are several sites that offer older versions.a search should help.

This problem is only in the display if data before the sync and tapping the tile will give the current step count at the last sync

So we have to wait 2 weeks for the data to appear on the watch face?   Pretty much makes it useless for anything but time and date.   Very disappointed.

Believe FitBit only has one page script .... "Lets check your Blue Tooth.... "

My wife and I have been using the fitbit app with just our phones. The app tracked calories burned and steps just fine. Today we both purchased a fitbit flex. After pairing them to our phones and app, her app is no longer displaying calories burned nor steps. Mine works fine. We both have Samsung 8 updated to latest firmware. Both fitbits are updated as well. Very disappointing to buy these accessories a d now have a problem with the app. Not what we expected.

I have the versa and have only just started having issues with heart rate not showing on app. I just upgraded to the s9+ and thought that was the issue but I guess not.

I have logged into my online dashboard and my steps are missing from there as well. Is there a way to manually log my stats?

my steps show on my app but before they used to update at the same time. I could keep track from both the fitbit to the phone. I am always having to sync my phone all the time then it updates to the fit bit.

Before they worked at the same time.  Wanting to know why this is happening all of sudden.

Hey, folks!

As previously mentioned the fix for this issue will be out in our next Android app release which you can expect within the next 2 weeks. This could mean anytime within the next 2 weeks it will release, not necessarily the full 2 weeks from now. We wanted to provide an accurate range, so its possible the next app release will be out much sooner than that.

Remember in the meantime, clicking into the tiles will display the stats you want to see. Please stay tuned for more updates!

Just to add context for your team:

-The problem started for me today, August 19th

-The web dashboard doesn't work either. Only my calories show there and they are not accurate.

-Clicking on the tiles doesn't work either. Nothing is there.

Same here.

Clicking on the tiles does not display the stats for everybody, including myself. See other replies.

Only stat available is on the web dashboard, and it`s an inaccurate number for calories (more than 50% difference with watch)

I am unable to access my stats on my Android phone or online.  My account is stating it has not been synced since Friday, August 17th at 11:33pm.  Any suggestions?  My Alta is tracking my steps.

My fitbit was not syncing at all from Wednesday  night until late Saturday. Now it is syncing, but recorded no steps Thursday-Saturday, even though there were more than 10,000 each day.
