Hey, everyone!
Thanks so much for your patience. We really appreciate your cooperation while we released the Fitbit for Android app version 2.77. It has been fully released to everyone, so please go to the Google Play Store and download it as soon as you can!
Many of you that already updated have confirmed you see your real-time heart rate back in the Fitbit app and that your steps/calories are updating. I will leave this thread open in case anyone has any issues, but I hope you are all set after updating. Thanks for all your help!

Today, we started releasing the Fitbit for Android app version 2.77. Please check the Google Play store on your phone to see if the update is available to you. We roll out Android updates progressively, so if you don't see it available to you right now it will be there soon.

Hi everyone - The fix for this issue will be out in our next app release which you can expect within the next 2 weeks.

From what I've gathered, this issue is app specific and not affecting the Fitbit web dashboard (which is correctly showing all activity data as expected). Yeah same! My Versa refuses to sync with my Ipad. In Fitbits attempt to help android users they ended up messing up for apple users!

It's still messed up for android users. Going to the website is getting annoying to check my status.

I am sorry to hear that have a good friend who has the same watch that I do and hers has always had ALL the features work ... texting, alarms etc have always worked for her and not for me .... the only difference it she connects to apple and I connect to android .... go figure.
I hope and Prey that you dont have the trouble getting a correction as us androiders ... lol

Why not smply tap the today tile on the Fitbit app.
However the latest update for me performs better, syncs and updated the dashboard faster than any other android fibit version in the past did.
It also has reconnected live data.

Unfortunately tapping on the Today tile doesn't help me. That also shows zero steps.

Sorry @Usagi791 my experience shows otherwise.
I see both my steps and distance update in real time. And the Versa says my HR is 53 and I see that by the timecof the screenshot the HR went up and proving real time heart rate.
I'm not sure what is happening or if the problem is with only one Android Version.

My heart on the tile is also pulsing, which tells me that it is displaying RTD. And currently as my tracker shows I see 50.
@emaculan do you also sync through the phone? Has the phones Bluetooth been turned off, or the phone has been removed to at least 50 feet?

They announced that version 2.77 started to be rolled out on the 21st.
Is it available for anyone here yet? Not for me. And today is the evening of the 23rd.
