Thanks so much for your patience. We really appreciate your cooperation while we released the Fitbit for Android app version 2.77. It has been fully released to everyone, so please go to the Google Play Store and download it as soon as you can!

Many of you that already updated have confirmed you see your real-time heart rate back in the Fitbit app and that your steps/calories are updating. I will leave this thread open in case anyone has any issues, but I hope you are all set after updating. Thanks for all your help!

Fitbit Update 8/9/18: Hi everyone. Thanks for taking the time to report this issue here on the Android forum. I've passed your reports along to our engineering team so they can begin investigating. From what I've gathered, this issue is app specific and not affecting the Fitbit web dashboard (which is correctly showing all activity data as expected). To keep thing organized, I've merged several threads to this one.

I appreciate your patience and am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. In the meantime, I welcome you to continue sharing your experiences here. In the meantime, you can view your current stats on the Fitbit web dashboard by logging into your account at fitbit.com

When I hear something new, I'll be sure to update the thread with the latest info. Robot Happy

Same issue here, but also not syncing heart rate since update yesterday. Have a Charge 2 and running latest firmware and software for Android/Samsung S8. Web dashboard is fine.

Have had issues with sleep resetting to 0 mins awake for a while, but nothing serious enough to worry about until now.

Have tried all the standard mod replies; switched Bluetooth on / off, reset my phone, logged out, reset my Charge (4 sec power button hold while charging) and uninstalled / reinstalled app. No luck.

Would blame the Charge but for it working (almost) perfectly up til the update. Suggestions?

Live Activity Tracking Broken, for the last couple of days. V2.76 & 2.76.1

The app now syncs much faster though, so thanks for that.

Last night my app started showing 0 in steps and cals. My device works and it is tracking and synching to my app just not steps and cals. Everything else is green and tracked. Charged it last night so no sleep tracking. I have tried several fixes that I found in theese forums. Restarted the app, with and without restarting bluetooth. Restarted the tracker a few times. The app uppdated last night so it is the latest version.
After my morning run the app recorded that I had done a workout and logged 6/5 days workout but then after I tried to set up the device again it dissapeared and went back to 5/5.

I ran out of options. Any ideas?

My app is having the same problems, plus it is not counting my steps in real time as I walk or exercise like it was. I have never used the web version, but I did log into it..my question is does the web version count steps in real time like the app has always done? I don't see that it is counting my steps as I walk..my second question is how to manually sync the web version? As of right now, the steps on my tracker are not the same as the steps on my web dashboard nor the app..

Yesterday my Fitbit app stopped tracking steps and calories.  Even if I tap on the tiles, nothing.  It is showing miles, however.  If I look back at yesterday, all of the data is there, but not for the current day.  Sleep is also looking weird.  I'm not sure what to do.

Edit: I reinstalled the app. It synched everything fine on startup but after a few minutes it synched again and steps and cals reset to 0.

Also I am using a charge 2.

It is extremely odd that the charge2 and the phone can synch just fine, it can register in the app as I have seen when reinstalling. But immediatly it resets just those 2 parameters to 0.

I am having the SAME issue! Mine won't record steps throughout the day, and when I pull down and release, it spins and spins like it's looking, but then shows 0 as the step count. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, turned Bluetooth off and back on, cleaned my Fitbit - what else can be done?
