Everywhere on the Forum there are problems syncing the Ionic since the last App update.
Fitbit needs to get off the dime and fix the issue. The canned responses are not working.
Fitbit should fix this now.

@Dspree89 Hi and welcome - you say no Live data - so everything else is syncing ok? I know you have probably tried this already but will mention anyway - have you checked to ensure live data Fitbit.com) ,all day sync and always connected is on - sometimes the apps on the update revert back to the opposite settings - my Units changed from Miles/Feet back to Kilometres/CM and Stone to Kilo,
Can I see real-time data in the Fitbit app
hope this may help a little
Kind Regards
Wayne

I having the same issue. I'm not seeing my step count or calorie count. I called support last night they said the error is a result of a software upgrade of some sort. 48 hours to fix...….not good.

Guys who have 0 steps and cals please do the following:
- Tap on the tracker and battery picture at the right top corner of your dashboard in the app
- Check "Sync Now" and "Sync" line. If it is showing something else than "A moment ago" or several minutes then force to sync it tapping on the arrow circle at right.
- If you managed to sync your tracker ("A mopment ago" has appeared) then the sync is working.
- Otherwise you have to do some tricks like tracker reset, unpair/pair, remove from the app and add it again, etc.
- When your tracker has synced go to the dashboard and check. Yes, the steps and cals indicators are 0 now. That means app is still buggy and not fixed, but you can check on the fitbit web site so far.

Hi, my dashboard is displaying the steps tile however the number of steps is showing as zero. When I tap on the tile it takes me to the detail page which shows my actual steps for the day, previous days are shown on the dashboard just not the current day. Not a massive issue but frustrating. Any ideas on how to fix it?

I agree. Version 2.76.1 has not fixed the heart rate issue.

My fitbit app showed me at 0 steps the last 2 days. So far, I have updated the app, unpaired the phone and blaze, added it back, restarted my phone and blaze, turned off the wifi, and hard booted my blaze. All of these I have done numerous times. My phone will now sync with my blaze, but I have to request it manually. The app will not show me anything in real time. I've had other issues, but this is quite frustrating!

Th Fitbit App is not showing my steps, heart rate or calories data, on Samsung Galaxy S8.
It is syncing the data because if I tap through into the detailed screens the data is there and it's there when I log in to my account on the website. I've tried:
Rebooting the phone
Uninstalling and reinstalling the app twice
Resetting the tracker
Turning the Bluetooth on and back off again.
I'm now stuck for what else to try

@DfromCardiff I agree. They should send out communication to let users know that this is a known issue. Mistakes happen - we know that. But, it's how companies respond to those mistakes that is important. When I posted about my issue, it would have been nice to have the moderator say "this is a known issue and we are working to fix it."
I haven't had any updates pushed to my tracker. Does anyone know when this might happen?

Since the update on Aug 8 my app display is not showing my steps. It's logging calories and exersize, but not my steps. I have deleted and reinstalled the app everyday now and yet again its not working. FRUSTRATED

Go to Fitbit.com Dashboard and click on the gear icon at the upper right and then on Charge 2. Scroll down to Enable "Live Data" there and then sync your tracker.

I've been having the same problem. It isn't syncing my steps and when I try to manually sync it shows up for a second and then everything resets to 0. It also isn't tracking my heart rate, and the fit bit itself still shows a changing heart rate even when I am not wearing it. Sure hope they fix this quick!

There is a bug with the new update and fitbit are aware of it and are trying to fix it. I have been told that everything else should work fine including your watch. Its just the heart rate and steps on the app. We've been told to be patient while they fix it.
