Since the up date my Active Minutes have been displaying zero. I don't know if this is a part of the other issue, just thought I would mention it.

When I would sync my charge 2 in the past to the Fitbit app and set my phone down and walk I could see my steps accumulating on the main screen of the app, ever since the app update when I sync my charge 2 and I walk my steps do not show up in real time on the app I have to resync it every time I want to see my progress. I like to sync my Fitbit to the app and watch my progress on app while I'm working out. Please fix this issue as soon as possible.

Is there a light at the end of this error as it seems to be going on longer than any problems previously had with this app.

Not only does the app not show any of the data, it also has stopped syncing via Bluetooth. All of this happened when the latest update of the App happened.

It is a know problem with the latest Android update. Apparently it is still updating the Fitbit database as can be seen by looking at the fitbit.com dashboard, so at least the data is not getting lost.

I hate the fact that the error also does not allow me to log my food. It's so much easier to log on the app than the website. In addition, I have a friend request that came in right when the error started. I accepted the friend, but it still shows up no matter what I do. I've accepted other new friends since then, but this one person is in a perpetual state of "request" and it's getting annoying.

At least we now know that it is a computer virus that is affecting the Fitbit programs. Hopefully, they will get it fixed soon and notify us of it.

Where did you read that it is a virus?

One of the earlier posts states that it was a bug in the program.

Just for information and to clarify a Bug is a glitch in the programming which causes an error in operation - a virus is a malicious programme forced into a programme with the intent on gaining information or making a complete system inoperable the big difference is a bug is caused by an error in judgement not is not intended to cause issue (only way I can explain is in a car is the fuel injector gets clogged through use is equivalent to a bug - whereas if you intentionally put sugar in the gas/fuel tank its an intentional act so would represent a virus)
hope this helps

I've temporarily (hopefully) remedied this issue by downloading and installing Fitbit version 2.71.

Fixing a bug takes time for the developers. Believe me, I spent some 20 years developing software 🙂
My guess is that between 2.74 and 3.75 there is some non trivial change (that's why minor version number changed, and it causes the problem, but the two versions handle the Notifications different way.
